History
The Funäsfjällen mountains have always been a place for recovery and life, where the fresh mountain air gave new strength. It was something Hilda & Jonas Åslund wanted to share with more people. In Fjällnäs, on the shore of Malmagen, Hilda & Jonas opened a small guesthouse in 1882. And success was a fact. This small mountain guesthouse attracted royalty and the super celebrities of the time. And you could probably say that it was Jonas and Hilda who created the “mountain trend” – to get more people to discover the magnificent mountain environment we have here in the north and more specifically, western Härjedalen.
